Meet Baby N

I recently got to spend an afternoon with brand new baby N and his family. (I also photographed his big brother L when he was tiny; my how time flies!)

G's Two Year Pictures

I had my son's two-year pics taken by a professional photographer, but I had to try to take a few myself. I wanted to get some full body standing ones. Whenever I have a specific goal like that, it never turns out as well as just shooting to see what I get. Oh well. I'm glad the pro got some great shots. Here are a few of mine that I like, though.

Texas Bluebonnets

My son and I met up with his friend and her mom for some bluebonnet pictures. It's a fun local tradition here in Texas; I love the colors and trying to capture a great picture. It was harder this year since we had bright sun to deal with - and uncooperative toddlers. But it's nothing a little bribery won't fix. My son loves cranberries and that's how I was able to take these pictures:

Cold and Snow in North Dakota

When we went home for Christmas, I got the pleasure of helping my dad shovel snow from their driveway. They received an abundance of snow this winter and spent a lot of time shoveling. I tried to capture a few images of my dad when he was shoveling. Just by looking at the photos, can you get a feel for the bitter cold? Brrrr!

Meet Baby C

I had the honor of taking some pictures for my friend's new baby C. Let me tell you, he made it easy! He had just the right amount of sleepiness for those sweet sleeping shots and just the right amount of alertness to see his beautiful eyes.
