We just got back from visiting family in North Dakota and while we were there, my cousin asked me to take maternity pictures for her. I was honored to be asked! My cousin L's two children had mixed feelings about being photographed; they alternated between wanting to hug and kiss the belly and wanting to be far, far away from the camera!

I think we got some really nice shots! And what a gorgeous belly!

My New Favorite Picture

I found another gem when I was looking through G's fall pictures. I had just asked him how old he was. He showed me, but I snapped the picture a hair too late as he was looking down (not at me). But gosh, I so love it anyway!

I tweaked it in Photoshop and creatively cropped it. Pretty nifty, huh? Takes a boring picture to a new level, I think.

The M Family

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the entire M family! They are good friends of ours (we have known them for 11 years and their oldest is our Godchild) and I have taken photos for them in the past: the two older boys before their brother was born, maternity photos of J, and newborn photos of baby J.

G's 18 Month Pictures - Fall is Here!

I took G with me when I took his friend A's pictures, and so I tried to get some of him also. He's in a, how should I say it, *difficult* mood these days. So he didn't cooperate much and only left me about a 15 minute window where he wasn't screaming or saying "NO". In that 15 minutes, I was able to capture these shots. Not exactly what I was looking for, but still cute. Of course they are cute, they are G! ;)

(Now I can at least cross "take 18 month pictures" off my to-do list.)

A's Fall Pictures!

On Friday, I got to follow around G's friend A at the Dallas Arboretum in order to get some fall pictures. G didn't really want his picture taken, but I was able to get a couple cute ones of them together. Here are some of my favorites!
